- What is j-Grab?
- Use j-Grab to purchase Japanese items from the hottest local markets and e-commerce sites.j-Grab provides item translation into English, Russian, Italian and French.
When you find items you want to buy, ask shippers (proxy buyers) in Japan to make the purchase. Once your transaction is complete, your order will be shipped. With j-Grab, you can communicate in local Japanese markets without a mastery of the language and make new friends who share the same interests.
You can register with a Twitter or Facebook account to join or create a j-Grab ID.

There are three ways to register with j-Grab.
1. Use your Facebook ID to log in.
2. Use your Twiteer ID to log in.
3. Register as a new j-Grab member.
After the registration process,You'll receive an email to complete the process.
Click the link to complete the registration.
You will receive another email to confirm the registration.

- You pay the Shipper via PayPal.
If you already have a PayPal account, just link it with j-Grab.
If you are not yet registered, please confirm "How to Register". - Is it OK that I don’t understand Japanese?
- Don't worry about it.
j-Grab provides the messaging function where you can communicate in English, and your messages are then translated and sent to the shippers in Japanese.

- Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
1. Check your email application's spam or junk folder or filter.
Please be aware that some emails may be blocked or filtered by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
2. Check that youre trying to log in from the exact email address you registered with.
A common error is registering with an incorrect email domain
(e.g., @comcast.com is not the same as @comcast.net).
In addition, keep in mind that email addresses never begin with a "www" prefix. - What should I do if I want to contact the shipper?
- Click on 'Ask Shipper a Question' on the 'Contact Shipper Page'.

- It is free to use j-Grab. But for ther buyer to purchase the product, buyer needs to bear charges for the product with currency calculated by j-Grab rate (*1) and shipping cost for domestic and international shipping, as well as shipper fee set by each shipper plus PayPal usage fee (*2).
(*1) What is j-Grab rate?: j-Grab's unique way of currency calculation of multiplying 2.94% to USD and EUR.
(*2) What is PayPal fee?: PayPal charges it's user transaction's 3.9% + 40JPY as usage fee. At j-Grab, this amount is charged to the buyer to avoid shipper from having to pay for the charges on receiving the payment. Please see here for more details. - Customs Duties
- There is no custom and duty fees upon exporting goods from Japan. But as for receiving the imported goods, rules on duties depends on receiver's country's government. Please refer your government provided website and/or documents.
