Since just two month ago of March, official Facebook fan page was just the number of 300,000. It was increasing plus 100,000 fans and is a Fashion & Cosmetics Media of Hello Kitty for generation X of female. That would be becoming huge community. Featured on TV Tokyo "World Business Satellite" (Japanese News Program) j-Grab is C to C platform provider of Japanese Global start-up company CtoC (Consumer to Consumer) business is the exactly growth area in IT industry. As most successful business model of CtoC, Brian Chesky of CEO AirB&B talked about the disruptive online service that provides a platform for individuals referred to as "hosts", generally private parties, to rent unoccupied living space and other short-term lodging to guests. After AirB&B, as Japanese start-up company that focus on disruptive CtoC model, j-Grab service was introduced. That service is to connect foreign consumers and Japanese consumers who are proxy buyers/bidders. It is enable to purchase for foreigners any items written in Japanese through them. Buyers ask them and pay a fee to both them and j-Grab. Beyond just purchase transaction like BtoC, the possibility and anticipation of CtoC develop to link a hobby community and international exchange.

Career Seminar for Graduates at University of the Philippines
Thanks to Dr. Sison and many Professors, we had "Career Seminar" for students of Computer Science and Computer Engineering who are going to graduate in this Spring from University of the Philippines. j-Grab is acknowledged as a promotional enterprise of employment improvement and proper job matching. More than 120 students participated in the seminar. Through some interviews, we could decide to hire an Engineer and a Designer.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" through j-Grab -International Charity Auction
j-Grab .com provides international proxy bidding system for International Charity Auction of “The Amazing Spider-ManTM Real Hero Edition” with Sony Pictures Entertainment on Yahoo! JAPAN Auction.

This auction starts from November 14th and ends at 21st.

The set is the one of its kind in the world and includes a Spider-Man suit that was actually used in the filming of the Amazing Spider-ManTM”.

The proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to help the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami and also to the Worldwide Orphans Foundation which helps orphans all over the world and is supported by Andrew Garfield.

This costume will be showcased at Sony Building in Ginza, Tokyo through Sunday, November 25.

Offsite meeting
j-Grab Inc. started to hold an "Offsite meeting" on regular basis. Offsite meeting is designed to make important decisions related with j-Grab business and strategy in relaxed yet concentrated situation outside of our usual office.

This time, we chose Starbucks coffee in Shibuya 3chome for it's convenient and quiet location. There, we brainstormed, using KJ method, about smartphone app that we are planning to launch in near future. During 2 hours of offsite, we came up with near 30 ideas, and we had very constructive discussion upon that idea.

Also starting from the foundation, our office always has an atmosphere like silicon valley, with free coffee and snacks not only for employees but open to all guests that visits j-Grab.

Held 2012 j-Grab Kid's Day
j-Grab Inc. held our first "Kid's day" during Kids' national holiday week. This program was designed to build better "work life balance" for the j-Grab employees by making their kids understand parents' job and work place which leads to good family communication. It was also a good chance for the kids to learn about how to make global internet service.

While their visit at j-Grab office, kids had fun browsing internet, and also had chance to actually make web design of the j-Grab top page. Web director at j-Grab was impressed by their work.

j-Grab offers an academic credit internship program
j-Grab Inc. accepted 2012 summer internship program for MBA of French EGC Bayonne university from May 1st to middle of July.
His name is Antoine Fichet and he will work for analyzing j-Grab's members' transaction data (data mining), localizing to French language and assisting promotion producers with on and off site shoots. This is also a chance to gain experience crating start-up business and have Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs style for his future dream.
Through this internship, j-Grab will make good partnership with French culture / business and encourage cultural relationship. We hope this program makes cultural / economic exchange between Japan and France activate.

Lady Gaga auctioning teacup through j-Grab
j-Grab.com provides international proxy bidding system at Lady Gaga Tomodachi Auction on Yahoo! JAPAN Auctions. The ceramic teacup was sipped by Lady Gaga herself, with the phrase "pray for Japan" written in Japanese across the front at the press conference in March last year. Collaborate Project "Reconstruction Support of Disaster by Earthquake and Tsunami"
We feel deeply sorry for those people still suffering from the disaster that hit Japan on March 11, 2011. Thanks to Yuki Suetsugu who is one of prominent Manga artist of "Chihayafuru", we are going to start "Manga Illustration Charity Auction" through j-Grab's global social commerce platform. We are hoping this charity event, which many Manga artist and Illustrators join, will help people to recover from disaster. This event is run by "Project Fumbaro Eastern Japan", and all donations will go to the disaster area. We believe these message would be empathically communicated through our community. Social Media Collaboration Project between DSPORTS and j-Grab
DSPORT, which is the biggest international automobile parts Magazine in USA and j-Grab has started a co-marketing project. DSPORTS magazine is sending a messages about Japanese auto tuning and car races to their subscriber of North America. j-Grab will introduce a great weekly topic through the official facebook page of DSPORT, and at the same time, j-Grab's official buyer acts as a safe proxy buyer and let the DSPORTS readers in America buy parts that are sold only in Japan. This is first social commerce activity between USA and Japan. By connecting this magazine media and our global social commerce platform connect together, new media style generates.

Britney Spears and Yoshiki of X Japan head global charity auctions by Yahoo! Japan and j-Grab
San Jose - j-Grab Inc (Delaware), announced to cooperate with Yahoo! Japan to hold global charity auctions for Japan earthquake and tsunami relief. Celebrities, musicians, and athletes have confirmed their participation. The following auctions already started on April 17th.

Britney Spears auctioned an outfit she wore for a Japanese TV commercial. The highest bid is 3,666(USD) as of April 18th. The outfit was used in 1999 when she visited Japan for the first time.

Yoshiki of X Japan auctioned his iconic custom-made "Crystal Piano." The bid started from 1(USD) and increased to 12,000(USD) in three minutes. The bid soared from 42,000(USD) to 361,000(USD) in eight minutes. The highest bid is 675,600(USD) as of April 18th.

j-Grab enables overseas bidders to view in English, Italian, French and Russian and to participate in auctions with its global bidding system using PayPal's authentication and Facebook's or Twitter's ID verification.
