Safe, Secure and Made in Japan
Mulberry leaf tea is prized among Japanese teas for its nutritional content. Tosenbo uses 100% mulberry leaves grown without pesticides in the mulberry village of Eigenji, Shiga Prefecture, deep in the mountains of Japan. The leaves are picked one by one by hand, carefully steamed and finely milled into a flavourful, matcha-style powder.
Naturally Contains DNJ from Mulberry Leaves
Mulberry leaves naturally contain DNJ (1-deoxynojirimycin), the component this tea is known for. It is a popular choice for people who are mindful of how much sugar and carbohydrate they take in, or who simply tend to eat a little more than they planned - many drinkers enjoy a cup just before a meal as part of a balanced lifestyle.
Rich in Dietary Fibre and Nutrients
Tosenbo is generously supplied with dietary fibre, beta-carotene, zinc, vitamin B1 and iron, far exceeding the levels found in typical aojiru green juice, making it a pleasant everyday support for health and beauty routines.
Its main component is insoluble dietary fibre, which human digestive enzymes cannot break down - roughly nine times the amount found in kale, the well-known main ingredient of green juice - so it suits anyone aiming for a comfortable gut environment.
