Many of the pottery for everyday use sold as "Arita ware" was actually baked in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, as a business practice from the end of the Meiji era, but recently, "Hasami" has finally been made.
The name "Yaki" has also come to be known to the world.
Hasami ware is a strong and clean vessel made from natural ore called "Amakusa pottery stone".
