Something to take home along with your fond memories of Japan...

This five-piece set of soaps is perfect for tourists. It is the perfect size to slip into a suitcase as a souvenir for family or friends. The green tea scent has a subtle sweetness. Every time you use it, you will be reminded of the places you visited and the people you met.

Takara Protect Soap is a body soap that uses sodium salts of fatty acids as its main ingredient, so it is gentle on skin, and contains active ingredients like AppliTech and titanium apatite. The biggest strengths are its cleaning power and deodorizing effects. The mechanism of these effects uses the high absorbency of titanium apatite to absorb and eliminate the excess skin oils that are the source of odorants. AppliTech and titanium apatite control the production of odorants.

It also contains titanium apatite

Also notable is the effect on the dirty water left after washing. The photocatalytic action of titanium apatite causes it to be broken down into water and carbon dioxide after it returns to nature (Though not all of it is broken down.). This soap is made for environmentally-conscious people who seek sustainability while enjoying an active lifestyle.

This green tea-scented Japanese-style soap is targeted at tourists from overseas. It features designs popular with foreign visitors, including Mt. Fuji, a daruma doll, an owl, a frog, and a geta clog.

These charming soaps are a little on the small side, fitting neatly in the palm of the hand. The soap has a refreshing scent like slightly sweet aromatic green tea. It lathers well, and the active ingredients of the soap absorb and break down viruses and bacteria, washing away clean.
This is a set of five, so you can also gift them individually as souvenirs.

Our Story

We often get the question “Why would a company that sells protective material for buildings make soap?” We were frustrated that we had hit a wall trying to market a product originally developed as a cleanser for use after construction work, when the discovery of titanium apatite and meeting some new people showed us a new path. We developed AppliTech as a cleanser for buildings, etc., after construction work. While it was originally developed as a cleanser for objects, the product excelled more for its anti-bacterial and anti-viral effects than as a cleanser, so we reconsidered the field of application. However, we had extreme difficulty with all kinds of legal restrictions and fundraising for development costs, so development came to a standstill. While this was going on, we got the chance to participate in an intellectual property exchange meeting organized by the city of Kawasaki where we learned about the open patent for titanium apatite, and we forged ahead with development.

Make sure there are no abnormalities of the skin before using. Discontinue use if there is a negative skin reaction. If eye exposure occurs, flush immediately with running water. Please consult a specialist physician if necessary. White powder or spots may appear on the surface of the soap, but this is not a quality issue.
