🌸 About the “Spring” Design:
In Japan, spring is a season filled with the soft beauty of cherry blossoms and the fresh green of new grass. It’s a time when the whole country turns into a painting of delicate pinks and greens. Yet somehow, at cherry blossom picnics—called hanami—people traditionally spread out bright blue plastic sheets that completely clash with the scenery!
That little irony inspired this design. The “Spring – Flowers and Dango” rug was created to be something truly beautiful and joyful to match the landscape, turning picnics into picture-perfect moments. The gentle pink tones and cheerful imagery capture the festive spirit of hanami, complete with a lucky cup of green tea where the tea stem stands upright—a sign of good fortune in Japan.
