Vibrant green color that rivals even traditional matcha.

Suruga Premium Green Tea Powder is crafted using the expertise from our long-selling “Sencha Green Tea Powder.” We use only high-quality Shizuoka-grown Kabusecha, a shaded green tea cultivated under protective covers for 7–10 days to enhance flavor and color.

This versatile powder has been loved by testers for a variety of uses: mix it into your morning yogurt, stir into milk for a luxurious latte, sprinkle on ice cream to elevate desserts, blend with rice to make tea-infused rice, use as “tea salt” for tempura, or incorporate into baking. Professional chefs appreciate its multi-purpose applications.

No additives are used to maintain its vibrant color, so we recommend using it soon after opening and storing it in the refrigerator for freshness.

Note:

Unlike traditional stone-ground matcha, our powder is mechanically ground, which may leave a slight texture in your mouth. This does not affect food safety.

Available Variations:

200g, 1kg

Ingredients:

Green tea grown under shade for 7–10 days (Kabusecha, Shizuoka, Japan)

Usage Precautions:

This powder is machine-ground and may leave a subtle granular texture in the mouth. It is safe to consume, but please be aware of this difference from traditional stone-ground matcha.

About Us

Since 1948, Seicha Kano Co., Ltd. has sourced and processed rare teas from small-scale producers in Shizuoka, including Kabusecha, varietal teas, and teas grown using traditional tea pasture methods. In recent years, we launched our online brand “Kanouchaya” and actively sell products via social media.

We have experience fulfilling small international orders for individuals and boutique stores and aim to expand our presence globally. Our teas have received awards at international competitions, such as the Japanese Tea Selection Paris 2023 (Bronze), and have been featured in tastings and trial events, including “Takumi Flavors” at the Japanese Cultural Center in Paris.

Our small-batch processing facilities allow us to preserve the unique characteristics of rare teas while offering tailored product development for multi-use applications, making our products ideal for global customers seeking authentic Japanese tea experiences.
