Enjoy an authentic taste of Japanese home cooking with Ichibiki’s Takomeshi Rice Mix.
“Takomeshi” (たこ飯) means octopus rice, a traditional Japanese mixed rice dish where octopus and vegetables are simmered with dashi (broth) and soy sauce for a flavorful, comforting meal.

This ready-to-use “straight type” sauce does not require adding water — everything you need is already included.
Just pour it over 2 cups of uncooked rice and cook in your rice cooker as usual. You’ll get a perfectly seasoned, savory Japanese-style rice dish without hassle.

The mix is made with first-brew bonito and Hidaka kelp dashi, giving it a deep, natural umami.
Each pack contains 491g of sauce and ingredients, including tender octopus, carrots, bamboo shoots, konjac (a Japanese yam-based food), and fried tofu.
