About THE FACTORY STYLE

THE FACTORY STYLE was created by Japanese photographer Hidemichi Aoki, a pioneer in promoting Japan’s factory nightscape culture.

Aoki is also the representative of Maverick Co., Ltd. Since the early days of factory nightscape photography in Japan, he has worked with major Japanese companies, municipalities, and government organizations to promote and develop this unique cultural phenomenon.

His photographs capture extraordinary industrial landscapes that are difficult to experience anywhere else, transforming factories and their surrounding lights into fantastical, almost dreamlike works of art.

Today, THE FACTORY STYLE goes beyond photography, producing a wide range of collaborative products and projects across different industries. Through photography tours and other creative initiatives, the brand continues to explore new ways of appreciating Japan’s industrial landscapes.

By combining industry and art, THE FACTORY STYLE introduces a distinctive Japanese perspective to audiences around the world.
