Japanese Akoya Genuine Pearl Earrings
These are genuine Japanese pearls. We always perform pre-treatment to remove any dirt in the nacreous layer.
There are two treatment methods: "water treatment" and "alcohol treatment." Water treatment makes the pearls shiny in a short time, but tends to make them a little too shiny. It also deteriorates quickly over time.
The alcohol treatment takes longer and the finish is not as shiny as the water treatment.
However, it produces pearls that are beautiful with their original depth and warmth. There is not much deterioration over time.
The pearls for these earrings are prepared with pearls that have been pretreated with "alcohol treatment" and have a gentle beauty.
