Description

KITPAS is a paint that can be used on large window panes or other smooth surfaces and easily wiped off with a wet cloth. KITPAS is characterized by its smooth application and high color saturation.

It can also be used like pigment and dissolved in water. The ingredients are carefully selected so that even small children can use the product safely, and because it uses wax derived from Japanese rice bran, it is safe and harmless in case a child accidentally puts it in his or her mouth.

KITPAS has a smooth texture and vivid colors, and can be dissolved in water to create watercolor-like paintings, making it suitable not only for small children, but also as a professional art medium for a wide range of uses. KITPAS encourages all generations to enjoy the "graffiti culture".

It is available in sets of 3 colors (4 color options) and a set of 10 colors. The 10 color set comes with a sponge. The KITPAS stencils feature a fish pattern with a cute design that floats around in the bathtub. The bath version is much easier to wipe off than the regular KITPAS. It is designed to float to avoid accidents that may occur when trying to pick up a sunken KITPAS shapes from the bathtub. To make them float, we designed them with a "fish shape".

Our company was founded in 1937 in Ota-ku, Tokyo. Our first encounter with American calcium carbonate chalk led us to the development of our company as a chalk manufacturer. In 1960, the company welcomed two students with intellectual challenges as interns from a special needs schools and today, approximately 70% of all the employees working at our facilities in

Kawasaki City and Bibai City, Hokkaido, are people with intellectual challenges, which is another unique characteristic of our company.

Currently, we are focusing on the production and sales of our flagship products - Dustless Chalk and KITPAS. KITPAS, in particular, has been popular overseas over the last 10 years, and our business partners and distribution channels have been expanding.

The company's core philosophy is "kind to people and kind to the planet," and we aim to build a society in which everyone is valued, needed, and able to work in a meaningful way. We also actively host company tours, give lectures, and respond to media interviews.

We are also committed to achieving the SDGs, and we promote workplaces where people with disabilities and able-bodied people can work together without discrimination.

The difficulties and secret stories behind the development of the product: We had a very challenging time creating the package. In order to make the package environmentally friendly, we explored the possibility of making it out of paper instead of using plastic.

However, because of the nature of the ingredients in KITPAS, there was a problem with oil staining the package, and after repeated tests, the package was designed so that the contents were visible. Many customers requested that we add a window on the package, so plastic was used for the window portion only. The package is also marked with dotted lines to make it easy to cut out.

The addition of 8 beautiful colors has broadened the scope and appeal of the product so that it can be used not only for children's drawings but also as an art medium.

Caution: When painting on glass windows, do a spot test over a small area to make sure it wipes off completely before painting on a larger surface. Quickly wash off any stains on curtains or clothes with detergent. Be careful not to get stains on wallpaper, in wood grains, or other areas that cannot be wiped off.
