Pineapple suppon is a brand of suppon raised in Yaese-cho, Okinawa Prefecture, using pineapples, papayas, and other select ingredients, known for its tender flesh and lack of gamey flavor. Using this premium ingredient, Fukuhan, a specialty torafugu and suppon restaurant, carefully developed this product through trial and error. The packaging for this sealed plastic pouch was specially designed by 326, an illustrator and former member of 19 who is now involved in activities to raise awareness of childhood cancer. Its distinctive design will catch the eye of people in their thirties and forties.
Our Story
We started developing this product when one of our customers who had an intractable disease was very happy whenever we brought a soft-shelled turtle hot pot for each order. We started making this product wanting to get more people to enjoy the nutritious and delicious soft-shelled turtle casually. Pit vipers and garlic are said to be good for bolstering nutrition and energy but are not suited for people with weak stomachs, children, or older persons due to their strong stimulation. Meanwhile, soft-shelled turtles can be eaten by anyone without any worry as baby food or food for those treating a disease. There are countless nutritious advantages and no bad points for the body, which is a major difference compared to other nutritious food products.
