Description
This product contains the aroma of cypress and yuzu, which are emblematic of Japanese essential oils, and mandarin orange, which is beloved by people during the New Year's holiday, in small bottles.
The packaging reflects a new way of thinking about Japanese craftsmanship, with a paulownia wood box that evokes traditional culture and packaging made of banana paper, which is drawing attention as a recycled material.
Features
Yuzu and mandarin orange are gathered from Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki City and crushed, frozen, and extracted by steam distillation in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Compared to a normal pressing method of extraction, this essential oil lasts longer and has a more mellow scent.
Yuzu: an elegant, Japanese citrus scent that is distinctly different from citrus fruits such as bergamot and orange. It would be no exaggeration to say that this is the most emblematic essential oil of Japan.
Mandarin orange...different from orange and other citrus fruits, the scent of mandarin orange has a softness that evokes the ""wabi-sabi"" aesthetic or Japanese dashi soup stock. In Japan, they are a must-have item alongside kotatsu tables used to spend the New Year.
Cypress...along with yuzu, this is one of the most emblematic essential oils of Japan. We use Kiso Hinoki wood, which has a good balance of overall fragrance, for this product. A drop in the bath can make you feel like you are visiting a traditional ryokan (Japanese inn). The small-lot production shortens the time between extraction and delivery of the essential oil to you, bringing the freshest essential oil possible.
By using a high quality dropper, even smooth citrus essential oils with low viscosity can be slowly dripped in, making it is easy to use even for beginners. Now precious yuzu citrus essential oil is available for your use.
The package is made of environmentally friendly banana paper cushioning material and a paulownia wood box, a traditional Japanese craft, making it an item that can be given as is as a gift.
