Development Story
The development of this product was inspired by a comment from a customer who came to our restaurant and said, “Suppon is expensive, so I can't eat it every day.” In order to offer suppon, which is rich in nutrients and good for beauty, to customers who cannot visit ryotei restaurants in Oita, we decided to develop a supplement containing “concentrated suppon extract” so that customers can easily consume suppon nutrients on a daily basis.
At the time of development, there was a problem that we could not easily process suppon into raw materials for supplements because the amount of suppon collagen oil we were using was too much. However, after visiting many factories across Japan and finding a new method of drying supplements using microwaves, we succeeded in producing supplements using high-quality suppon from ryotei restaurants.
