Suzuki Kobo was founded in 1987 in Higashikawa, a small town in Hokkaido surrounded by rich natural landscapes.
Step outside the workshop, and you’ll find vast forests stretching out before you, with the Daisetsuzan mountain range and Mount Asahidake in full view.
As we watch Mount Asahidake change its colors with the seasons, we draw inspiration from nature and continue our daily craftwork, feeling the rhythm of the year through its ever-changing scenery.
Our products are crafted primarily from wood sourced in Hokkaido, along with carefully selected materials chosen to suit each piece.
Finished with natural oil waxes, they retain the wood’s original texture, warmth, and gentle feel.
Each item is carefully handmade, resulting in wooden products designed to be familiar, enjoyable, and a natural part of everyday life.
