AMENOKAKU LLC (合同会社天迦久) operates three coffee shops and cafés in Nara, Japan — the ancient capital known for its temples and deer park.
Founded in 2021 in the historic district Naramachi, AMENOKAKU began with a simple mission:
“To change the idea that coffee is just bitter — and help everyone discover their favorite cup.”
Our founder, a native of Nara, was inspired by the diversity of coffee culture overseas and wanted to bring that passion back home.
We now roast over 15–20 types of coffee daily, including 5–6 varieties of Geisha beans, some sourced exclusively through international auctions.
Our roasting facility near JR Nara Station features four world-class roasters, each chosen for its unique roasting character:
