Description

For more than 40 years since its launch, Green Tanuki Soba has been a long-selling tempura soba cup noodle product.

Green Tanuki Soba" is a popular soba noodle that offers customers a familiar taste with a sense of security thanks to the deliciousness of its carefully selected dipping sauce.

The sauce is based on katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) dashi, balanced with dark soy sauce and sugar.Slightly blackened buckwheat noodles cut with a square blade of an easy-to-eat thickness achieve a unique texture and smoothness over the throat.

Comes with optional shichimi (seven spice) chili pepper (Oyako Pack). Ingredients are our signature savory small shrimp tempura, fish paste, and green onion.

If you like soft tempura, put the tempura in the container before pouring hot water into it, and if you like crispy tempura, put the kakiage on the top afterwards.

Each case contains 12 pieces, so it is recommended for home stocking stuffers.Unchanged taste and consistent deliciousness. This is a long-selling tempura soba cup noodle product.

History of "Green Tanuki" Products

"Green Tanuki" was created in 1963, and at the time was the industry's first Japanese-style bagged tanuki soba noodle.

To create synergy with the red fox, the package is now "green," the exact opposite of red.Since then, Midori-no-Tanuki has been evolving in Japan, changing the flavor of its dipping sauce depending on the region where it is sold and improving the flavor of its dashi while selling products tied to local festivals in each region.

In 2020, Green Tanuki celebrated its 40th anniversary. In the same year, we found the formula that best brought out the flavor of onions and renewed the tempura with the savory taste of small shrimp tempura.
