The Beatles × Japanese Traditional Crafts is an original event launched as a uniquely Japanese celebration of the 60th anniversary of The Beatles’ album debut.
The theme, “Japanese Tradition and Master Craftsmanship,” is embraced as a true representation of Cool Japan, and through the legacy of The Beatles, we saw this as a powerful opportunity to promote these values both within Japan and to the world.
These finely crafted products, rooted in natural materials, align with the global SDGs movement, and each item is made by hand using time-honored, traditional techniques.
This event is the first official Beatles event in Japan, formally licensed by Apple Ltd. as “A Beatles Product.”
In addition, with hopes for the recovery of Fukushima, the event’s main visual features the iconic “Akabeko.”
